Pealy Eco Resort and Research Center embracing the diverse natural phenomenon is located at West Dhangmari, Mongla which is Just half an hour from Mongla Port. This eco-lodge is located just at the bank of Posur River. Sundarban, the largest mangrove forest in the world, is just at the other side of Pealy Eco Resort. So, you can have a tremendous view of Sundarbans cottage here. Pealy Eco Resort is the first project of ‘Tourist Club Bangladesh’ which aims at establishing many more projects in Bangladesh as part of Home Tourism. There is a concern rife in our society that construction can damage the pristine beauty of nature and the purpose of any construction is to seek profit. But any project under TCB will break the existing notion. TCB is highly committed to work for the community development putting no harm to nature. The purpose of TCB is to educate people about their proper approach towards nature, and the communities close to the nature.

The vision of this project is to support local communities with a sustainable livelihood. Besides supporting eco-tourism and wild life conservation, this resort will pave the way for the tourists from home and abroad to learn about Sundarbans and the lives and struggle of locals related to Sundarbans. This resort will also play the role to engage the locals with the outsiders who want to contribute to the community development. The main purpose of this resort is to remove the dependency of the locals on the forest for their living hood which is life threating for both the locals and the forest. Through the process of sponsorships, donations, creating working opportunities and many other ways, this resort will help the locals celebrate their lost festivals with the presence of tourists in a vibrant ambiance.
In a nutshell, this resort will be the role model of home tourism in Bangladesh. The main moto of home tourism is creating a platform for the locals to be developed by themselves.

Our resort will help the locals by creating some opportunities. We will ensure their source of earning by providing jobs in the resort. In fact, our resort can be a good platform to sell their local products. By organizing regular occasional programs, our resort will impact on the different aspects of their socio-cultural and economic life.
